Is It Time To Update Your Internet Browser?
Overview of this week's e-Newsletter
I thought it would be good if I focused on some upgrades that most online users forget to do or didn't know about (an Internet browser is the program one uses to view websites and web pages, one such program is called Internet Explorer.) So this week I'm going to go over some updates that are vital to keeping you viewing everything you're suppose to be seeing on every website.

Step 1.) Find Out Your Internet Browser Version
Find out if you need to update your internet browser.
The first step in finding out if you need to update your internet browser is to find out what version of internet browser your using. To make it easy for you to find out what internet browser your using and the version number, I've put together a web page that will auto detect your browser and version number and then display them on the web page for you to see. So go to our internet browser detection page to see what yours are.

Step 2.) Find Out If You Need to Update

Once you've view what your internet browser and version are you can see if you need to update your browser. I've outline the current, as of 9 August 2008, most up-to-date versions of the major internet browsers. Check over the chart below and see if your version number is lower than the current version. If you find your not using the most current internet browser simply click the download link and you'll automatically be brought the the appropriate download upgrade.

Other Necessary Update-able Things!
Other things you should update to make sure you're seeing every website correctly.
There are a few other important things that you should also update on your computer. One of them is called your flash player (a flash player is a plugin program for the Internet Browser (meaning it's a program that plugs into your internet browser and adds on more functionality) that allow you to view rich animated content). To update your flash player first check and see if it needs updated. The current flash player version is 9. You can view the internet browser detection page again and to see what your flash player version is. If your flash player version is 9. and some numbers that's fine, you have the most updated version. Other wise you should download and install the latest version, to do that go to Adobe flash player download page.

Final Words
